More then 100 million foreigner are coming each year to China and now China is on the 4th place in the worldwide ranking about tourists. The chinese goverment want to push China on the first place on this ranking and also 2008 the olympic games will be in China.

If you think about these information - why foreigner can find more and more that in fact just the money is welcome. On this picture you can see what you can find now at more and more places in China - foreigner have to pay more for audio guide and sometimes also for other services.



I also asked some of my friends why these happens now more and more. The answer i got, was that it is more complicated to translate everything in other languages and also more Chinese use that kind of services. Of course this is right - but how would you feel if you come for example to germany and you would read a sign that Chinese have to pay more for same service then we german? Until now everybody has to pay the same. Should we also change this in germany?

Fortunately this is not the same everywhere. Just don't use it!
